This New Years, Make a Resolution!

One of the most frequent topics of discussion around the proverbial campfire these days is,
"What must America's freedom fighters do to return America to a Constitutional Republic?"

As anyone with any form of common sense will know,
neither they or we will have all the answers to the problems facing this nation right now.

But, we do know that without lawful organization,
American's will just keep sliding backwards until they have no rights left.

One of the biggest problems with what can be called the "Patriot Community",
is a lack of organization, effective leadership, apathy, and agent provocateurs.

The lack of organization has led many to completely ignore any form of
OPerational SECurity (OPSEC).

Individuals send regular e-mail with contact information, phone numbers, and meeting locations.
OPSEC is a mindset that many cannot fathom.

Many individuals just want to wear fatigues and play soldier.

They think that if society would just hurry up and collapse, they can be
"important" or "a leader" or "people will quit making fun of them.

Then there is the "posing" contingent,
these are usually bored teenagers with an anarchy fixation.

Their idea of combat comes from playing "Call of Duty" and "Counterstrike".
They've never been in a hostile confrontation involving gunfire,
but think that if society would just hurry up and collapse it will be "one glorious firefight after another".

We hate to burst these peoples fantasy bubbles,
but being a "Patriot", "Survivalist" or "Militia member" does not mean "one
glorious firefight after another".

The United States faces its destruction come January 20th, 2009 as the usurper
is sworn into the highest office in the land.

Violation of the "natural born citizen" clause of the Constitution by Barack
Hussein Obama is so egregious and blatant in its nature that it marks the overt
and wholesale abandonment of the Constitution by the Government.

The Supreme Court refuses to hear the petitions by America's freedom fighters,
and 98% of these so-called freedom fighters will not do anything else less
it affect their "comfort zones".

Why we bring up this point is to illustrate the point that those who think they
could win in a head-to-head confrontation with a regular military unit ,
are usually "posers", agent provocateurs or delusional.

As the old saying goes, "you can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs".
Yes, OPSEC can be a hassle and may require you to do extra work,
but implementing things such as COMmunications SECurity (COMSEC) and encryption.

Even the former "goat herders" of al-Qaeda have learned to use Pretty Good Privacy (PGP).
For the uninitiated, PGP is a very good encryption program for files and e-mail.
One would expect Westerners with far more technical sophistication could do the same.

This New Years, make a resolution to implement some OPSEC in your life by implementing some COMSEC!
