Haiti Eartquake Photos

Two strong earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.0 and 5.9 were
recorded in the evening on January 12th near the coast of Haiti.

In the capital,
Port-au-Prince, located only 16 km from the epicenter of the aftershocks,

destroyed were many buildings, including the hospital, a hotel, and an office of
the United Nations mission and one of the buildings within the complex of the
presidential palace.

Under the rubble were thousands of people.
Doctors say the
death toll may reach several thousand of people.
