More Haiti IMINT

CSA

At least 1,500 bodies were stacked inside
and outside the morgue of Port-au-Prince's General Hospital on Thursday, as pick-up trucks
continued to deliver the dead from Tuesday's earthquake, the hospital's director said. "I can't say how many more bodies will be brought here," hospital director Guy LaRoche told Reuters, saying that by 11 a.m. (1600 GMT) they numbered at least 1,500. Police were continuing to bring more bodies in vehicles piled with corpses.

Haiti's Red Cross said earlier the death toll from Tuesday's earthquake could be between 45,000 and 50,000, with a further 3 million people hurt or homeless. In the shattered Haitian capital bodies could be seen buried under the rubble, lying by the side of streets, or piled into vehicles.
