E-mails claiming to be from the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS's)
intelligence division, are being sent out and DHS is warning that the e-mails are fakes and
contain malicious software.
The e-mails actually originated from Internet addresses in Latvia and Russia,
according to a three-page alert from the Homeland Security Department’s counterintelligence unit.
If your like us,
we get so many Department of Defense (DoD) and DHS e-mails,
that they are automatically sent to our spam folder.
It would be flagged on the statement DHS intelligence division,
that's an oxymoron if we've ever heard one.
