Vibrant Response Aftermath - Death of the CCMRF's?

The Department of Defense (DoD),
has come to the conclusion after "Vibrant Response 2009",
that the current chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and high-yield explosive (CBRNE),
Consequence Management Response Force's, or CCMRF's (“Sea-Smurf's”), "lack
sufficient capacity in some capabilities".

We had previously reported
on the Government Accountability Office (GAO),
report entitled,
"Preliminary Observations on Defense Chemical, Biological, Radiological,
Nuclear, and High-Yield Explosives Consequence Management Plans and
Preparedness", which had pointed this fact out.

Rumors are now circulating that the Pentagon is reviewing the creation of more robust
CCMRF's called Rapid Homeland Defense Response Units,
that would be capable of dealing with multiple CBRNE events,
enforcing "quarantines" and crushing a civil insurrection.
