Are You Being Led Down the Primrose Path?

People talk about equality and fairness for all and yet when groups like ours speaks out,
our detractors call us "crackpots" and "extremists".

We get messages calling for, "the violent overthrow of the government!"
Usually these messages are from "posers" (teenagers claiming to be Patriots),
or individuals so far gone they have to hope for the system to be torn down so they can feel good about themselves.
They think that by having a few supplies, and some guns, they can be "important" or "a leader" or "people will quit making fun of them".

One of the problems with these individuals who call for a "violent overthrow of the government".
is they offer no solutions to the problems facing this nation.
We don't have all the answers either,
but we do know that calling for a "violent overthrow" of the government" in public messages is not the answer.
Doing such a blatantly stupid thing leads us to believe you're incompetent or working for a three letter agency (voluntarily or forcibly).

These individuals are not dedicated to the Constitutional Republic and the rights declared by our founding fathers,
granted to us by God above, and penned in the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence,
and the Constitution of the former United States of America.

They often have their own agendas they feel can only be accomplished if they could attain power and crush their enemies (real or imagined).
This is true even with so-called mainstream politicians.
If you're a regular reader of any of the Connecticut Survivalist Alliance (CSA) blogs,
you'll know that one of our favorite quotes is from Theodore Roosevelt who said,
"Americans learn by disaster, not by history".
Like past dictators, we now have an individual with a persuasive tongue and massive appeal to a weary nation.

The CSA has always advocated that it is the duty of those who want to live in a FREE society,
earn that freedom.

PERSONAL FREEDOM IS NOT NEGOTIABLE!

FREEDOM, LIKE RESPECT, IS EARNED AND MUST BE CONSTANTLY NURTURED AND PROTECTED FROM THOSE WHO WOULD TAKE IT AWAY.

The concept of a Constitutional Republic is so simple that it seems to have eluded many completely.
Beware those that offer to lead you down the primrose path of socialism and welfare.
