As we reported on our blog yesterday,
the Missouri Information Analysis (MAIC) released a report titled,
"The Modern Militia Movement".

We received quite a few e-mails responses from both sides of the fence.

Rather then be accused of "malicious rhetoric" as they like to call anything written that they don't agree with.

Let us explain.

There are two versions of the report.

A "Classified - Law Enforcement Only" version,
and a partially sanitized "Unclassified - Law Enforcement Sensitive" version,
that has made its way onto the Internet.

The main difference between these two reports,
is that the sanitized version also lists supporters of Chuck Baldwin and Bob Barr as potential Militia members.
We believe this was done so they could say not just one group was the focus of the report.

The bumper sticker issue was addressed by adding pictures and cartoons as "anti-government propaganda"..

MAIC says their report was misinterpreted.
So everyone just climb back up on your turnip trucks now!
